Andrzej Krauze is a Polish-born cartoonist, illustrator, caricaturist, painter, poster designer and satirist based in the UK. His illustrations have been regularly published in The Guardian as well as many other daily newspapers and magazines in Britain.

The animation screened on the night The Flying Lesson was Krauze's diploma submission censored at the time of its premiere by the Polish authorities.
