'The Flying Machine: The World of Chopin’s Études' is a unique, one-off film event in breath-taking 3D, which celebrated the 200th anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin's birth.
Audiences are invited to experience the transformative power of Chopin’s music, as they watch the Flying Machine take to the skies for a series of animated adventures through the imaginations of nine acclaimed international directors, set to a rousing soundtrack performed by super-star pianist Lang Lang.
Meet Anna and her little cousin Chip Chip who must take to the skies in an amazing Flying Machine to travel home, criss‐crossing the world and experiencing a series of action packed, life‐affirming adventures along the way; experience the bravery and heroism of the Little Postman as he delivers mail through war-torn city streets; triumph with Papa’s Boy when he bravely follows his dream and in so doing, earns the respect of his father; and alongside stressed, busy mother-of-two Georgie (played by Heather Graham) rediscover the inspirational power of Chopin’s music and the power of imagination.
The feature film The Flying Machine will air on Sky 3D in May 2011.
