In July 2016, artist Simon Pruciak and Engineer Alexandra Reddaway set off for Brazil to commence a round the world adventure which would take them 360 days through 40 countries and across 45,000km on their motorbikes. With the objective to live in the landscape as far as practicable, they mostly camped or stayed with locals and travelled by land unless impossible. The objective was moulded by an art research project on Creative Geographies and the journey was recorded visually and with daily diary keeping. The adventure was punctuated with occasions where mere survival was the primary focus so the project morphed into not only an investigation of the landscape or territories but of simple human endeavour.
