A rich mixture of coming of age drama, war film and horror movie, 'Werewolf' follows eight children orphaned following their liberation from a Nazi forced labour camp.

Escaping to a semi-derelict mansion, they must fend for themselves against hunger, roaming killer dogs and Nazi survivors.

Making atmospheric use of the forests of Poland, director Adrian Panek situates the struggle of the survivors with sensitivity. Powerfully allegorical, this is still a highly relatable story of rediscovering your humanity.
