What's Love Got to Do with It focuses on the complexity and intricacies surrounding the way we communicate ‘love’, and exposes the ever-shifting mysteries of its nature and significance.

The exhibition presents a selection of works that explore the verbal and visual languages of love and the myriad ways these are mediated through social and cultural codes, and other external forces.

Each of the participating artists investigates the emotional and physical choreography of intimacy and the power-plays that accompany longing and desire.  Beyond such individual interplay, the exhibition addresses the ways in which politics, popular culture and the built environment affect language and the body.
