On September 28 we would love to invite you to a special afternoon of events to celebrate a new Exhibition on the award-winning book "Quarks, Elephants & Pierogi: Poland in 100 Words".
The programme includes art workshops for children with an illustrator Magda Burdzyńska will teach children how to illustrate words and create their own mini-book, prizes for the best mini-books and opening of the exhibition, with a presentation by co-author Adam Żuławski
A display of illustrations from the award-winning book "Quarks, Elephants & Pierogi: Poland in 100 Words" will be on show in the Library’s Main Hall. The Exhibition will be curated by graphic artist Magda Burdzyńska.
The event is organised by Culture.pl in collaboration with Stockwell Partnership and the Polish Cultural Institute in London.
