Centrala in partnership with Studio 44 and in collaboration with Short Circuit Project are delighted to announce the four shortlisted artists for The Digital Diaspora exhibition: Zoë Aiano, Tamara Kametani, Jens Masimov and Anna Jochymek.

The finalists will present their work in an exhibition at Centrala, Birmingham that will run from the 1st of March until 15th of April 2019 and simultaneously in The Studio 44, Stockholm that will run from the 15th of March 2019 until 7th of April 2019.

Based on the topics of unity and division this timely project lays particular emphasis on Europe marking 30 years of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the opening up of Eastern Europe. Contrastingly taking place during the British Exit from the EU, the exhibition explores the themes of migration, borders and identity realised by artists.
