Polish violinist Maria Włoszczowska performs her debut recital at the Wigmore Hall on March 4th 2016 at 5:30pm. She will be joined by Scottish pianist Alasdair Beatson for this evening of folk-inspired classical masterpieces for the violin-piano duo.
The concert is part of Wigmore's exciting 'Young Producers' project, where young people from London secondary schools programme and produce their own concert at the prestigious hall. In addition to attracting a regular audience, there will be an emphasis on bringing younger people to the venue for the first time.
The programme:
Schubert - Sonatina in D major
Debussy - Violin Sonata
Bartòk - 'Romanian folk dances'
Ravel - 'Tzigane'
