Organist Kamil Mika on Tour

Young Polish artist performs his eclectic repertoire in some of Britain’s most beautiful churches and cathedrals

July 4th - 14th

Various locations in England, Scotland and Wales

Kamil Mika presents a series of organ recitals that promise to be a real treat for lovers of this uniquely impressive instrument. He will perform from his extensive repertoire that ranges from the much loved Baroque standards of Bach and Pachelbel, through his specialisms in French impressionism and Polish composers such as Nowowiejski and Surzyński, up to works by contemporary composers including Arvo Pärt and Guy Bovet.

Mika is a young musician from Kraków, studying his instrument in first his home city, then honing his craft in Mainz, Germany. Having performed to audiences across Europe over the last few years, from Portugal to Ukraine, he now makes his UK debut in a series of daytime concerts, starting on July 4th at Bradford Cathedral and concluding the tour in Newport, Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to see an up and coming artist play in the beautiful setting of Britain’s ancient churches.
