With an impressionistic, classically trained sensibility at the heart of his playing, pianist Leszek Możdżer epitomises the excitement that's currently present in his native Poland's jazz scene.
Performing from his much-admired new ACT CD, Komeda, Możdżer fittingly pays homage to an icon of Polish music, pianist and composer Krzysztof Komeda, whose immeasurable contribution to the evolution of Polish jazz during the 1960s was matched by his landmark film scores, including the early movies of Roman Polański, including the classic Rosemary's Baby.
