of a new arrangement of the twenty-one nocturnes by Richard Causton

Tuesday 22 June to Friday 9 July
Play Me I’m Yours
The Street Pianos return by popular demand after the success of 2009.
The twenty-one uprights will be placed in locations throughout the open
spaces of the Square Mile. Luke Gerram’s project offers an extraordinary
open-air opportunity for impromptu recitals, sing-alongs or just a quiet
‘tickling of the ivories’ on the way home from work. Each piano will have
a specially designed sheet music book featuring pieces by Chopin as well
as new compositions inspired by his work.
