Artists: Magdalena Żuk (piano and vocals), Bertrand Kulik (violin)
Magdalena Żuk studied at the Wroclaw Music Academy with Olga Rusina, the Royal College of Music in London with Kevin Kenner, and with Eugen Indjic at Schola Cantorum in Paris. In 2001 she wan Premiere Prix du Perfectionnement at Conservatoire National in Versaile and has since given solo recitals in the UK and around Europe. In London she performed at venues including St.Martin-in the Fields, St.James Piccadilly and the Chopin Society.She also is the winner of many majorprizes and scholarships.
She performed recital at the French premiere of the Roman Polanski film"The Pianist" in Paris. Magdalena has been soloist at two of "Odra Jazz" festivals and has recorded music programmes for Polish television.
In 2010 she performed Chopin Concerto in E-minor with the Orchestre Symphonique du Conservatoire Chopin a Paris and the chamber version with Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France at the Polish Embassy in Paris. She has been on tournee to Japan and South America ( Buenos Aires and Montevideo) in 2011. The same year she has received a prestigious award for her contribution to Polish Culture abroad- TV Polonia 2011.
