1918-2018: Centenary Reconciliation Concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

A concert dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War with works from the last century offering reflection, renewal and the ultimate triumph of the spirit.

Cultural Solidarity Media would like to present a Centenary Reconciliation Concert to mark the end of World War I featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and International Soloists.
From the echoes of the first shot in Sarajevo up to the work inspired by the Artic Convoys and reflections of Auschwitz, the programme reflects the horrors of conflict, heroism and resignation with the ultimate triumph of the
human spirit. It features works by Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich through to Vaughan Williams and George Lloyd, who both had a first-hand experience of military service in the war, recalling the historical cataclysms of
the 20th century out of which we grew to build the world of today.

£3 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Chelsea Pensioners.
