An international conference on Conrad, sponsored by the Centre for Conrad Studies, Department of English at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, Lublin, Poland, to be held 12–16 July 2011 in Poland, followed by an optional study tour, 16-22 July, of the Lublin region, Warsaw, Cracow, and Zakopane.

The conference is organized in honour of all contributors to volumes XI-XX of the series Conrad Eastern and Western Perspectives published by East European Monographs/Social Science Monographs, Boulder and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Lublin, and distributed by Columbia University Press New York.

The conference will be held under the Honorary Patronage of The European Parliament and of its President Professor Dr Hab. Jerzy Buzek (former Prime Minister of The Government of Poland).
