Polish Film Club launches on 27 July

Polish Film Club is dedicated to bringing the best of Polish cinema to the United Kingdom. The club organises screenings of contemporary, cult and classic Polish films across various London venues, starting with its premier screening at South London’s iconic The Gorringe Park pub cinema, showcasing Maria Sadowska’s celebrated film The Art of Loving. Story of Michalina Wislocka.

With an ambition of bringing the best of Poland’s growing film industry and diverse cinematic talent to the UK, the club aims to make Polish cinema easily accessible to local Polish communities as well as wider London audiences, with all films subtitled in English.

Whilst initial screenings are scheduled to take place at Tooting’s The Gorringe Park pub every Thursday at 7pm from 27th July to 13th August, additional screenings will be regularly added across a variety of London venues. Films already confirmed include Polish blockbusters Teddy Bear (Miś), Gods (Bogowie), and Day of The Wacko (Dzień świra).
