Award-winning film and theatre actor Itay Tiran takes the lead in this Polish/Israeli co-production; a modern version of the Jewish folk tale of the dybbuk, or demon. The director of the film, Marcin Wrona tragically died in ‘suspicious circumstances’ shortly after the film was completed.

This atmospheric story of possession takes place at a wedding in a small Polish town. Before the celebrations, the bridegroom uncovers some human bones in the  rounds of his new rural home and as the party builds, his behaviour becomes increasingly disturbing.

SERET International – the Israeli Film & TV Festival, has announced the dates for the 2016 UK Festival. Now in its fifth year, the festival will be held in cinemas and cultural centres in London, Redbridge, Manchester and Leeds.
