Polish government expert on migration policy. Krystyna Iglicka has obtained her M.Sc (Economics) in 1988 (University of Warsaw), Ph.D (in Economics) in 1993 (Warsaw School of Economics) and Habilitated Doctor degree in Economics (University of Warsaw) in 2003. Her research area includes changes in fertility patterns during the demographic transition, strategies and mechanisms of emigration in the CEE region, labour mobility, East-West European migration, immigration and integration models, EU immigration policy, patterns of return migration, brain-drain and mobility of highly skilled labour.
